Safety remains a top priority: the controller includes robust protections against reverse polarity for both solar PV modules and batteries. It also features Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD) functionality and automatic temperature compensation to safeguard battery health under varying conditions
Visual clarity comes from intuitive LED indicators—blue for system on, green for charging, red for LVD, and yellow when grid power engages—keeping users informed at a glance.

With a maximum charging and load current of 20 A and compatibility for panel input up to 480 Wp (≤ 50 Voc), the IHCC 45/60 supports both lead-acid and lithium batteries. It also ensures stable performance across a wide temperature range—from –20 °C during discharge to 55 °C while charging—with natural cooling and an IP65 rating for tough, real-world durability .

A standout smart function: when the battery reaches LVD level, the controller prioritizes grid power by activating AC mains automatically—ensuring seamless, uninterrupted power supply .
