The Middle East is defined as much by its soaring temperatures as by the vibrant energy transition unfolding across the region. From September 1 to 3, the 50th edition of Middle East Energy (MEE 2026) came to a successful close at the Dubai World Trade Centre, unlocking new opportunities across the regional power sector.

Residential Energy Storage – Tailored for Unstable Grids and Price-Sensitive Grassroots Markets
The Middle East's residential energy storage market is now transitioning from its nascent stage into a period of rapid growth, driven by both favorable policy incentives and widening power supply gaps. At the booth, the HI-10K-SL2 single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter drew considerable attention from buyers. Featuring IP66-rated protection, it is well-suited for dusty, high-temperature environments. Equipped with two independent MPPT trackers and an ultra-wide MPPT operating voltage range of 80–500V, the unit ensures stable power generation even under low-irradiance conditions.
For weak-grid regions such as Iraq and Yemen, the unit supports fast on-grid/off-grid switching in under 10ms, ensuring uninterrupted power to critical loads during outages. A built-in GEN interface allows connection to diesel generators, while 160% PV oversizing is supported to maximize solar yield. The system is also compatible with both lithium and lead-acid batteries, aligning with local procurement preferences, and is adaptable to a wide range of residential scenarios – from villas in Dubai to rural homes in Iraq.

C&I Energy Storage: Three-Phase Models for Diverse Loads
The HI-20K-TL three-phase low-voltage storage inverter is the workhorse model for small and medium-sized commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. With policy measures taking effect – including Saudi Arabia's 30% cost rebate for solar-plus-storage projects and the UAE's residential storage expansion program – demand for three-phase storage solutions across the Middle East is growing rapidly.
Equipped with a 400A high‑rate charge‑discharge capability, the model enables fast charging and discharging for large-capacity batteries. It supports 100% three-phase unbalanced output and 110% continuous overload operation, making it adaptable to complex loads in villas and small factories. Seamless on/off-grid switching within 10 milliseconds ensures consistent power supply in grid-unstable regions.
During the exhibition, INHE also announced that its three-phase low-voltage product line will be expanded to 30kW in the near future, drawing high expectations from customers seeking larger capacity and greater flexibility. From Dubai villas to small factories in Saudi Arabia, the HI-20K-TL stands as a dependable workhorse for the Middle East's small-to-medium C&I storage landscape, backed by proven reliability and robust field performance.

Large-Scale C&I Storage: High-Reliability Support for Grid Coordination
Large-scale energy storage in the Middle East is rapidly scaling up from demonstration projects to large-scale commercial deployment. In benchmark projects such as Saudi Arabia’s NEOM City and industrial parks across the UAE, project owners and EPC contractors are shifting their selection focus from pure high-power output to grid-forming support, extreme high-temperature adaptability, and full lifecycle cost optimization.
