Frankfurt, October 13, 2025  More and more associations and initiatives are coming together under the initiative Peace City Frankfurt.

On 13 October, at Lokalbahnhof Frankfurt more than 50 people gathered to set a message for peaceful coexistence.

Powerful keynote speeches, which made clear that we are all responsible for peace, as well as moving performances and an atmosphere that was experienced as family-like, reminded everyone once again how important this kind of community is and how each individual can contribute to a sustainable culture of peace.

The discussion rounds produced results that can be worked on further and also led to the wish to meet again. Because peace begins with each individual and is then lived out in the family, the community and ultimately in the city and country.

Many guests stated that it is great to see so many engaged people and how well prepared the event was.

We as IWPG also support the Peace City initiative and were very inspired by all the strong women with whom we had the privilege of spending the evening.

We would like to thank all those who contributed and attended, and we are excited to see what future cooperation will bring.

Together, we as women, whether in Frankfurt or elsewhere, have the power to truly change the city.
