THE WOODLANDS, Texas, September 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/– POS+ today announced that it will be launching a self-serve portal by the end of year that will enable payment partners to integrate payment workflows into any software.

The highly anticipated platform aims to correct market imbalances that have led to high payment rates and made merchants feel like hostages. “Softwares are increasingly bundling payments and the payment costs are getting out of control,” says Steven Song, Managing Partner of Eden Capital Partners and board member at Noodlelove.

Through its payment workflow integrations, POS+ is solving the entrapment problem created by softwares that embed payments and only offer one payment option.

“We are about providing choice,” says Jordan Thaeler, cofounder of POS+. “With a POS+ integration merchants can choose the rates, support, and features that work for their business.”

POS+ comes at a critical time as embedded payments are on the rise, expected to top nearly 70% of acquiring volume by the end of the decade according to Bain & Co..

“We aren’t against embedded payments. In fact, we wholly embrace the value of embedded payments. The problem arises when there’s a singular embedded payment option and that sole provider gets greedy,” shares Thaeler.

Payment partners already using POS+ have seen considerable success.

“POS+ has increased our win rate by making every prospect a real target,” comments Jen Wilson, VP of Partnerships at Zermatt Pay.

“Prior to POS+, we’d lose deals to locked-in CRMs. Even with much lower pricing, practices wouldn’t give up integrated payments, and every year the number of practices getting locked-in was only growing” explains Brian Wasserman, General Partner of TSI Payments. “With POS+, we’ve been able to beat locked-in CRMs and even re-win business that left.”

POS+ has integrated workflows to dozens of softwares, representing nearly $400B of unlocked payment volume and can deliver new integrations quickly by leveraging AI.

“We can turn around most new integrations in three days for a trivial cost by leveraging our AI infrastructure,” says Thaeler. “Integrations beyond these parameters flow into a crowdfunding section where the integration gets released once the tipping point is met.”

Thaeler emphasizes that the portal is about speed.

“We don’t want to be the bottleneck to creating value. If merchants aren’t getting what they need from their current payments provider we want to empower the payments industry to fix that as fast as they want to move. Simply grab an integration in POS+ and go.”

Thaeler already sees such demand in their existing beta program that he anticipates crossing $1T in unlocked payments volume by 2027. “The number of requested integrations we receive from our partners is unlocking tens of billions of dollars weekly.”

Starting today, interested parties may sign up at https://www.posplus.org/self-serve for a chance to enroll in an expanded beta program that will run until the public portal launch, expected later this year.
