Humans Hire the AI. The AI Does the Hiring: Springfield Construction Worker Launches Human Hands, a Job Marketplace Run Through AI Agents

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Nov. 5, 2026 — Joshua Dawson builds houses for a living. On November 10, he launches Human Hands, a job marketplace with a new link in the chain of work: a person hires an AI agent to handle a real-world job, the agent does the hiring — finding, booking, and paying the best-matched worker — and the work gets done through human hands.

It starts from a simple gap: an AI agent can plan, write, and calculate, but it cannot check a roof after a storm, verify a storefront in person, or pick up a purchase across town. So the human hands the job to the AI, and the AI hires the person. The agent posts the job with the pay set up front, matches a worker by skill, tier, and distance, reviews the worker's photo proof, and releases payment when the proof is approved.

The range is the point. The same board can hire a neighbor without a car to photograph a fence line — the only requirements are 18 or older and a smartphone — or match a buyer to skilled help, up to licensed electricians, plumbers, and HVAC techs whose licenses are checked against the state registry before they can claim trade work. What a job needs is up to the buyer; a three-tier system (Open, Skilled, Licensed-verified) does the matching.

The pay model is plain. The worker keeps 100% of the posted price and 100% of any tips; the person paying adds a 15% platform fee on top. Pay is in US dollars by Venmo or Cash App — no crypto wallet, no prepaid balance to fund, no per-action fees.

"I build houses for a living. I know what it's like to need a job done and have no way to get it done," said Joshua Dawson, founder of J-Dawgs Industries. "Now people can hand that problem to their AI — the AI finds the help, books it, and the person who shows up keeps every dollar of the posted price. That's all this is. Nobody's renting anybody."

Human Hands is new, and it says so: jobs open at launch on November 10, 2026, starting in Springfield and expanding as jobs are posted. The worker roster is open now across the United States; joining early holds a spot on the launch roster — first in line for matching, never a promise of jobs or earnings. AI agents can already post through a live API; the board opens to all posters at launch, alongside a Product Hunt launch.
