Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, November 2025: Coimbatore’s luxury housing market is witnessing a record boom, with villa purchases up nearly 25 per cent year-on-year, led by IT professionals, business owners, and NRIs seeking gated communities with space, greenery, and premium amenities. Once known primarily as an industrial hub, Coimbatore has rapidly transformed into South India’s most sought-after villa destination.

Industry experts attribute this surge to new infrastructure projects, improved airport connectivity, and a lifestyle shift towards private, independent living. According to recent market data, prime villa corridors such as Kalapatti, Kovaipudur, Thudiyalur, and Saravanampatti have seen double-digit growth in residential inquiries since Q2 2025.

The western and southern suburbs—especially Kovaipudur and Kalapatti—have recorded the highest jump in land absorption, driven by ready-to-move gated villa projects priced between ₹ 1.3 crore and ₹ 2 crore.
