CAIRO, Egypt - Khaled Nasr, MBA, a regional marketing and demand generation leader covering the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, has completed an international AI Hackathon and built an original, working AI-powered project that was subsequently featured on the initiative's official website.
The hackathon, presented by the Lebanese American University, ranked among the world's top 250 universities, brought together more than 14,000 participants from around the world. Having a project featured from a field of that size places Nasr among a select group of participants whose work was publicly showcased.
The achievement reflects Nasr's broader focus on applying artificial intelligence to everyday marketing work. In 2026 he also completed Anthropic's "AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations" program and Semrush's "Become an AI-Powered Marketer" course. He regularly builds his own AI tools to automate recurring tasks, including a trade-show evaluation tool that reduced hours of research to a few minutes.
"The real value is turning AI from a buzzword into a business advantage," Nasr said, describing the approach behind his work.
Nasr brings experience across demand generation, product launches, events and digital marketing in the region, and describes himself as an AI-augmented marketer who combines strategy with hands-on technical building.
