Kilowott Participates in Key Industry and Technology Discussions at Arendalsuka 2026

Arendal, Norway - August 2026: Arendalsuka 2026 brought together politicians, businesses, researchers, technology leaders, NGOs and industry organisations from across Norway to discuss some of the key issues shaping the country’s future.

As part of the Gjøvikregionen collaboration with the Norwegian Cybersecurity Cluster, Kilowott also participated in a seminar addressing the question: “Can Norway afford not to build its own cyber industry?”

The discussion highlighted the growing importance of developing domestic cybersecurity capabilities. Beyond protecting businesses and critical infrastructure, a stronger Norwegian cyber industry has the potential to support job creation, innovation, investment and export opportunities, while strengthening the country’s digital resilience and reducing dependence on external expertise.
