In a recent scientific video journal, a group of scientists demonstrated a double-tagging affinity purification technique that allowed the recovery of highly purified, full length target protein. By adding an N-terminal GST and a C-terminal 10x His tag to their target protein, they eliminated degraded protein and were able to purify enriched, full length target protein successfully.
