Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India: Meghachem Industries, a manufacturer of inorganic chemicals since 2002, is expanding its export supply of copper, tin, zinc and molybdate compounds to industrial buyers in more than 20 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Founded by Mr. Amrut Patel and Mr. S. C. Damani, the company began with a single focus: manufacturing Cuprous Chloride and Cupric Chloride for India's growing Copper Phthalocyanine (CuPc) pigment industry. Two decades later, Meghachem has reached an annual production capacity of 6,000 MT and serves more than 15 industries, including pigments, electroplating, galvanizing, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, refinery catalysts, textiles, ceramics and agriculture.

The product portfolio covers four chemical families. Copper chemicals include Cuprous Chloride, Cupric Chloride Anhydrous, Cupric Chloride Dihydrate, Basic Copper Carbonate and Cupric Oxide. Tin chemicals include Tin Chloride, Tin Sulphate, Sodium Stannate and Potassium Stannate, widely used in acid and alkaline tin electroplating baths. Zinc chemicals include Zinc Chloride powder and Zinc Chloride Liquid for galvanizing, flux and chemical processing. Molybdate chemicals include Ammonium Molybdate and Sodium Molybdate for fertilizers, corrosion inhibition, pigments and catalysts.

Every batch is tested in the company's in-house laboratory for purity, assay, moisture content, heavy metal content and solubility, and every lot is shipped with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Sensitive products such as Cuprous Chloride are packed in sealed PP bags with HDPE liners to protect them from oxidation during storage and transit.

Meghachem supports buyers with custom specifications, particle sizes and packing options ranging from 25 kg bags and 50 kg drums to 1 MT jumbo bags. Trial orders and bulk contracts are both accepted, and all export documentation is handled in-house. The company also operates its own effluent treatment process with primary, secondary and tertiary treatment.
