A voluntary blood donation camp was recently held at our office, turning an ordinary workday into something deeply meaningful. What started as an internal initiative quickly transformed into a collective act of compassion—bringing together colleagues in the spirit of giving.

Mercurius, a team of over 400 strong, saw more than one-third of its people voluntarily sign up for the camp. Each registered employee underwent a thorough health screening conducted by a professional medical team to ensure safety and eligibility. After careful checks, over half of the registered participants were cleared to donate—and together, they contributed 60 units of blood in just one day. An incredible outcome for a workplace drive.

But beyond the numbers, what made the day truly special was the atmosphere. Hosting the camp right here at the office made participation simple and approachable. For many, it was the encouragement of colleagues and the ease of access that nudged them to take that step finally—something they had been meaning to do, but never quite got around to. First-time donors overcame their hesitation, supported by an environment filled with care, calm, and quiet confidence. Nervous laughs turned into proud smiles. It was a day of firsts, of courage, and of doing good—together.

The donation process was handled with the highest level of care. Hygiene and safety protocols were followed meticulously, and post-donation refreshments and rest areas ensured everyone felt comfortable and looked after. Employees appreciated how smooth and well-organised the entire experience was.
