The hospital was founded by Practice Owner Dr. Forester Gholston, DVM, a lifelong Alpharetta-area native who grew up on a farm with a veterinarian father and brings 14 years of general practice experience to the community.
The hospital provides a wide range of services under a single roof, including preventative care, wellness exams, puppy and kitten care, dental care, diagnostic testing, urgent care, senior pet care, and advanced surgical procedures. A standout offering is Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery an orthopedic procedure that stabilizes the canine knee joint and supports lasting recovery from ligament injury. Dr. Gholston, who earned his DVM from the University of Georgia, performs a broad spectrum of orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries on-site, reducing the need for outside referrals.
Complementing Dr. Gholston's surgical expertise is Dr. Elizabeth Prince, DVM, a Fear Free Certified veterinarian who received her degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Prince focuses on internal medicine and chronic disease management, with a particular interest in senior pet care. Her individualized approach to treatment and her commitment to fostering long-term relationships with clients make her a natural fit for the hospital's patient-first culture.
