Nepalese Mathematical Researcher Miraj Pathak Expands Theoretical Frameworks in Mathematics to new limits

Posted February 11, 2026 by mirajpathak

Miraj Pathak is an independent mathematical research scholar from Nepal known for Miraj’s Cubo, Miraj’s Numo, and Pathak’s Theory of Number Interaction, with work indexed in Harvard Library (HOLLIS), NUS Library, and WorldCat.

Miraj Pathak, an independent mathematical research scholar based in Nepal, is slowly climbing the ladder of recognition with regard to his independent contributions and forward-thinking research involving the unorthodox applications of the study of numbers and their interaction with each other under the theory of theoretical mathematics.

Pathak has created Miraj's Cubo and Miraj's Numo, which are new algebraic identity formulas that redefine the sum and difference of powers in terms of the properties of the difference of squares. These formulas have incorporated a new parameter called Miraj's Change, which reflects the creativity of Pathak in structuring algebraic manipulation. Pathak has published his work in international journals like the International Journal of Advanced Research and the Annals of Mathematics and Physics.

In addition to publishing in journal databases, the academic works carried out by Pathak have been listed under various prominent library systems worldwide. This means his works have been made available within various prominent library systems worldwide, including the Harvard University Library (HOLLIS), Royal Library of Denmark Library (DET KGL BIBLiOTEK), National University of Singapore Library , University of Washington Libraries, McGill, along with WorldCat and others.

Based on the aforementioned fundamental contributions, Pathak continued to develop the Pathak Theory of Number Interaction (PTNI) model, which focuses on a theoretical framework defined by the term Interact and attempts to establish a method of quantifying the numerical interact potential. PTNI has managed to be published in respected international journals, including the International Journal of Physics Research and Applications.

Based on this research direction, Pathak developed the PCCH that would investigate the possibility of numerical interaction causing an effect of compression in the mathematical continuum. Research along this direction is continuing.
Apart from academic research, Pathak has had good performance in various national competitive examinations, such as obtaining All Nepal Rank 7 in the National Mathematics Olympiad and being selected as a finalist in the 12th National Astronomy Olympiad organized by the Nepal Astronomical Society, securing All Nepal Rank 28. He has also participated in the CIERA REACH Program in the United States under a full scholarship, gaining exposure to research in theoretical physics and astrophysics.

In his continuous pursuit of theoretical research on an independent basis, he endeavors to bridge abstractly mathematical ideas with wider applicability and relevance of conception. His corpus of work is building up with a commitment to originality and long-term inquiry, placing him as an emerging contributor to modern mathematical thought whose work may have global implications for the field.
