Matthew Kay is a celebrated Canadian musician, multi-instrumentalist, music producer and mastering engineer. He releases music under various aliases, including “Lexic Task” (electronica, ambient), as “ouveure” (post-rock, instrumentals), and Matthew Jon K (alternative rock, acoustic).
“Higher Resignations” is new album by ouveure, featuring Lexic Task. It combines Matt’s two projects into one release, as showcasing post-rock, alternative, ambient, downtempo electronica and experimental and psychedelic vibes throughout. Most songs were composed and recorded on guitar, bass, programmed drums, drum machines, and synth with software synthesis and effects.
