Meet The Northgate Animal Hospital Team
Dr. Jim Hammon, DVM, CVJ / Co-Owner
A graduate of the University of Tennessee’s first veterinary class (1979), Dr. Hammon brings decades of experience serving the Chattanooga area. He has held leadership roles in several veterinary associations and received numerous awards, including the Distinguished Service Award from the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Randy Hammon, DVM, CVJ / Co-Owner
A 1982 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Randy Hammon serves as the hospital’s Medical Director. A lifelong advocate for pet health, he is actively involved in professional veterinary organizations and participates in international medical missions to aid both people and animals.
Dr. Yvonne Ward, DVM / Co-Owner
Dr. Ward has been with the hospital since 1999 and has a strong interest in internal medicine, laser surgery, and ultrasound. She also serves on the Chattanooga State Veterinary Technician Advisory Board, contributing her expertise to the local veterinary community.
Dr. Juliana Ramirez, Veterinarian
Originally from Colombia, Dr. Ramirez graduated from the University of Florida. Her interests include feline medicine, dentistry, and preventative care. She enjoys outdoor activities and is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to connect with a broader range of clients.
