NU MD Celebrates Major Progress for BPC-157 While Expanding Its Turnkey Ecosystem Across the United States and Canada

CLERMONT, Fla. — July 23, 2026 — NU MD today joined members of the peptide, medical and wellness communities in celebrating a major regulatory development following an FDA advisory committee vote supporting the inclusion of BPC-157-related bulk drug substances in Category 1 for pharmacy compounding consideration.

The advisory vote represents an important step toward a more regulated, physician-led and pharmacy-controlled pathway for BPC-157. It does not constitute final FDA approval or approval of BPC-157 as a drug.

Against the backdrop of this significant day for the health and wellness industry, NU MD also announced the continued expansion of its turnkey operating ecosystem throughout the United States and Canada.

The company is opening its specialized merchant-services program to qualified telehealth, healthcare, wellness and related businesses—including companies outside the NU MD licensee network—and is preparing to introduce NU Flex, a flexible patient-payment and financing solution.
