The sponsorships include annual endowment fund to CancerCare. This fund allows CancerCare to bring in world class researchers to work at the NYGÅRD sponsored Breast Cancer Tumour bank. They also sponsor members of the Symphony Orchestra to play for breast cancer patients while they receive treatment and have provided specially designed mammography gowns for patients. All monies raised through NYGÅRD for Life directly impacts Breast Cancer survivors and to further the much needed research to find a cure.
