Dr. Schmidt earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 1982 and joined the practice that same year. A member of the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association, he continues his education to stay current on conditions treated surgically.
