Planet Ayurveda achieved a major milestone in its global expansion with the 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚̈𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚́ 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐚, established in collaboration with Planet Ayurveda India. The center was inaugurated by Her Excellency 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐯𝐚 𝐒𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐚, 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐚, in the presence of dignitaries, Ayurveda practitioners, and wellness enthusiasts from across Europe.

The inauguration marks a significant step forward in the global promotion of Ayurveda as a natural, preventive, and holistic system of health and wellness. The new center will offer authentic Panchakarma therapies, Ayurvedic consultations, and personalized lifestyle programs, following the traditional principles of Ayurveda. Its vision is to provide a space for rejuvenation and healing while serving as a bridge between Indian wisdom and European wellness traditions.

In her address, Ambassador 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐯𝐚 𝐒𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐚 praised the initiative, emphasizing the global relevance of Ayurveda as a sustainable approach to health. She commended Planet Ayurveda’s contribution in spreading India’s traditional medical science and strengthening cultural ties between India and Slovakia through wellness and education.

𝐃𝐫. 𝐕𝐢𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐧, 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐲𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝𝐚, expressed deep gratitude to the Ambassador and guests for their support. He highlighted the center’s mission to offer authentic Ayurvedic therapies under expert guidance and announced the establishment of a School of Ayurveda in Slovakia. The school will create academic and practical collaborations among Ayurvedic institutes, professors, and practitioners across Europe. Dr. Chauhan, who has been promoting Ayurveda for over two decades in India and abroad, shared his vision of making authentic Ayurvedic healing accessible globally through centers, education, and research.

Mr. Miro Maduda, Founder of PEACE (Professional European Ayurveda Centre for Excellence), described the inauguration as the fulfillment of a long-awaited dream. He stressed the importance of Panchakarma in restoring physical and mental balance and expressed appreciation to Planet Ayurveda and Dr. Chauhan for their dedication and partnership in bringing authentic Ayurveda to Central Europe.

The event also recognized Mr. Miroslav Špaček, who began his cooperation with Planet Ayurveda India about 15 years ago. Over the years, he has organized Ayurveda educational programs, seminars, and workshops throughout Europe, significantly contributing to spreading awareness and understanding of Ayurveda across the continent.

A key supporter of the project, Mr. Martin, a Slovak entrepreneur with successful ventures in hospitality, travel and tourism, timber, real estate, and clean energy, was also acknowledged for his vital role in facilitating the establishment of the 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐲𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐚. His commitment and vision have helped integrate Indian wellness traditions into the European hospitality landscape.

The inauguration ceremony began with a traditional Havan (Yajna) performed by Prof. Anurag Pandey, MD (Ayurveda) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and Dr. Bhairav Kulkarni, MD, PhD from Dr. Vedprakash Patil Ayurvedic Medical College, Jalna, India. The sacred ritual invoked blessings for peace, harmony, and success.

Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of the Demänová Resort, the new Planet Ayurveda Panchakarma Center aspires to become a European hub for authentic Ayurvedic healing — where nature, science, and spirituality unite to promote holistic well-being.

During the meeting, Ambassador Kumar lauded Dr. Chauhan’s dedicated efforts in bringing Ayurveda to Latvia and Europe. She appreciated Planet Ayurveda’s contribution to promoting India’s traditional system of medicine globally and assured full support from the Ministry of AYUSH for the ongoing and future endeavors aimed at strengthening Ayurveda’s presence in the Baltic region.
