On March 18, 2026, the Chairman of Romania-Laos Business Council, Mr. Ioan Anton Mazarianu had publicly presented his Report titled: "The first year of activity at the helm of Romania-Laos Business Council" to H.E. President Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea.

In 2025, Mr. Anton Măzărianu was appointed by H.E. The President of the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania, Acad. Dr. Anton Caragea as President of the Romania-Laos Business Council (CARL) for a five-year mandate with the remit to develop the economic cooperation between Romania, Europe and Lao DPR
