Reklaim Credit Solutions Brings Commercial Credit Infrastructure to the Cannabis Supply Chain

Cannabis operators can use industry payment data, predictive credit scores, and suggested credit limits to make trade credit decisions before inventory leaves the building.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — September 29, 2026 — Reklaim Credit Solutions, a commercial credit reporting and rating agency built specifically for the state-regulated cannabis industry, is bringing a more established approach to one of the industry’s longstanding problems: deciding which customers should receive trade credit, how much credit they should receive, and when that exposure needs to change.

Cannabis businesses routinely sell products on terms, yet many of those decisions are still made without the commercial credit information available in more established industries. Suppliers often have their own accounts receivable history with a customer, but that only shows one part of the relationship. It does not show how the same customer is paying other suppliers across the market.

Reklaim Credit Solutions is designed to fill that gap.

The company operates a contributory credit network in which participating businesses securely provide de-identified accounts receivable aging data. Reklaim combines that payment history with public records, regulatory information and other credit data to build a broader view of a company’s payment behavior.
Members can use that information to review customers before extending terms and to monitor existing accounts as their risk changes.

“Cannabis companies have been asked to make serious credit decisions without serious credit information for far too long,” said Kraig G. Fox, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Reklaim Credit Solutions. “If you are shipping $50,000 or $100,000 of product and allowing someone to pay you later, you are making a credit decision whether you call it that or not. You should know how that company pays its other vendors, what your exposure looks like and how much credit the data supports before the product goes out the door. That is basic credit discipline in almost every mature industry. Cannabis should have it too.”

Fox came to the problem after decades of operating, investing and managing businesses and assets where risk, accountability and financial discipline mattered. His career has included senior roles across entertainment and media, along with more than a decade of involvement in the cannabis industry. That combination exposed a contrast he found increasingly difficult to ignore: cannabis businesses were extending substantial amounts of unsecured trade credit without the reporting infrastructure routinely used elsewhere in commerce.

Two Scores Built Around Two Different Questions

At the center of the Reklaim platform are two proprietary credit scores.
The Reklaim CANNAFIX Score measures how a company pays across the broader Reklaim network. It is calculated using trade payment information contributed by participating operators and is recalculated as new accounts receivable data enters the network.

The Reklaim ExposureScore looks specifically at how a customer pays an individual Reklaim member. It uses that member’s own AR history to measure the risk within the direct trading relationship.
The distinction matters.

A customer may pay one supplier on time while becoming progressively slower with several others. Looking only at an individual company’s ledger can hide that change. Network-level payment data can provide another signal before the deterioration reaches that supplier’s own aging report.

Reklaim pairs its scores with suggested credit limits, full commercial credit reports and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Reports can incorporate trade payment history alongside information such as licensing data, ownership and related entities, judgments, tax liens, UCC filings and other public records.

Credit Decisions Before the Invoice Becomes a Collection Problem

The traditional way of managing cannabis receivables often begins after an invoice becomes overdue.
Reklaim is built around an earlier decision.

Before approving terms or increasing an existing customer’s limit, a supplier can review that company’s credit profile and suggested exposure. Existing customers can then be monitored for changes in payment behavior or other risk indicators.

The goal is not to eliminate trade credit. For many cannabis businesses, terms are a necessary part of doing business.
The goal is to underwrite it.

That means giving finance, credit, and sales teams a common set of information when deciding whether to approve an account, change a limit, tighten terms, or continue selling as usual.

A Network That Gets Stronger as Operators Participate

Reklaim’s model follows a structure long used by commercial credit bureaus outside cannabis: businesses contribute payment experience and receive access to intelligence built from the wider network.

Participating companies submit de-identified AR aging information through secure data pipelines, accounting system integrations, or structured files. Customer lists are not exposed to other members.

As additional payment history enters the system, Reklaim can evaluate a counterparty across multiple trade relationships rather than relying on a single supplier’s experience.

That shared view addresses a basic weakness in cannabis credit management. One vendor may know that a customer is 15 days late. Another may know the same company has stretched from 30 to 60 days. A third may be considering a large new order without knowing either fact.

A contributory credit network is designed to connect those signals without revealing the underlying supplier relationships.

Built by Commercial Credit and Cannabis Operators

Reklaim’s leadership team brings more than 130 years of combined experience across commercial credit, predictive modeling, B2B collections, technology and data security, together with more than a decade of experience inside the cannabis industry.

That background has shaped how the company approaches the market.

Rather than adapting a general business score to cannabis, Reklaim is building its credit models around payment behavior generated inside the cannabis supply chain itself.

The platform is intended for cultivators, brands, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, service providers, lenders and other businesses with financial exposure to cannabis operators.

For suppliers, that can mean reviewing a customer before approving Net 30 terms or shipping another order to an account already carrying a large balance.

For lenders and financial institutions, standardized third-party credit information can provide another source of information when evaluating the quality of cannabis receivables and commercial counterparties.

For finance teams, it creates a record behind decisions that have historically depended heavily on internal experience, trade references and judgment.

“Sales and credit do not have to be opposing forces,” Fox said. “A good sale is one you ultimately collect. We want the salesperson to keep selling, the credit team to have defensible information behind the limit, and the CFO to know where the company is carrying risk. Everybody should be working from the same facts.”

90-Day Access for Cannabis Operators

Reklaim Credit Solutions is offering cannabis operators a 90-day free trial of the platform with no credit card required.
Participating businesses can submit their existing AR aging data and evaluate their own customer portfolio using Reklaim’s credit tools. White-glove onboarding is available to help companies prepare their data and review their first reports.
