Solidsoft Reply, a Reply Group company specialising in Microsoft Azure cloud-based enterprise solutions, has successfully migrated Estonia’s National Medicines Verification System (REKS) to Solidsoft Reply’s proprietary National Blueprint Solution, SafeNationVS.

The completed project marks yet another successful largescale system migration, following Solidsoft Reply’s FiMVO migration in 2023. This underscores Estonia’s ongoing commitment to patient safety and pharmaceutical transparency. As part of the European Medicines Verification System (EMVS), REKS ensures that all prescription medicines dispensed across Estonia are genuine and compliant with EU Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) standards.

The 6-month project successfully migrated over 6 years' worth of medicinal data, millions of medicines pack records, while establishing connections with key stakeholders across the pharmaceutical supply chain.

This highly complex migration was delivered in close collaboration with REKS and required workshops for Estonian IT suppliers, modifications of a fully validated migration toolset, and documentation on how data is transitioned. This ensured a secure and seamless transition to Solidsoft's leading national blueprint system with full traceability of its data for auditing purposes.
