SanGreat Natural Indonesia is a science-driven startup that has been manufacturing natural and sustainable personal care products in Bogor, West Java, since 2019. SanGreat offers skincare, hair and body care, and aromatherapy blends, with close to 50 products to its name.

Founder and CEO Fifin Nashirotun Nisya is confirmed to speak about her company's success at the upcoming ASEAN Personal Care Technology Summit, which takes place in Jakarta from December 4–5, 2025.

Ms. Nisya's presentation, titled From Research to Shelf: Developing Niche Natural Products in a Competitive Market, will explore the transformation of scientific research into scalable, natural-based personal care and household products. It will also highlight how research-driven innovation, intellectual property, and agile market strategies enable a startup like SanGreat to carve out its niche while maintaining sustainability, affordability, and global competitiveness.

Drawing on her academic and research background, Ms. Nisya brings deep expertise to this discussion. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology from IPB University and has spent over a decade as a researcher at the Surfactant and Bioenergy Research Center, IPB University.

Under her leadership, SanGreat has expanded into international markets through exhibitions and partnerships in Singapore, China, South Korea, and Japan.

To safeguard its innovations, SanGreat enforces intellectual property rights, including registered trademarks and patents in bio-surfactants and derivative products, while maintaining trade secrets for key formulations. It has secured trademarks for SanGreat and SanGlist.

The company was awarded the Corporate Award at Techplanter Demo Day 2024 by Leave a Nest Japan, as well as the Japan Tobacco Award and Proxsis Award in Indonesia, recognizing SanGreat’s innovative and sustainable approach.
