Designed for direct attachment to rafters or roof deck substrates, RT-PLUS® combines the layout flexibility of a traditional rail system with an integrated waterproofing solution intended to simplify installation and support long-term roof protection.

Rail-based mounting systems are widely used for projects that require greater flexibility across varying roof geometries, module layouts, or array configurations. Many conventional systems rely on separate flashing components and field-applied sealants at each attachment point to help prevent water intrusion. RT-PLUS® was developed to address those needs through an integrated flashing design.

What RT-PLUS Is

RT-PLUS® is an extruded-aluminum PV rail mounting system designed for direct attachment to rafters or roof deck OSB and plywood substrates. The system incorporates Roof Tech's AlphaSeal® self-flashing technology directly into the mounting hardware, creating a waterproofing solution that is integrated into the installation rather than relying on a separate flashing component.

Specifications and Options

RT-PLUS® is available in mill (MIL) and black finishes, allowing installers to match mounting hardware with module frames or project aesthetics. The rail profile accommodates both 3/8-inch and 5/16-inch T-bolts and is designed for direct attachment to compatible rafter and roof deck substrates, providing flexibility across a range of residential and commercial installations.

By integrating the flashing into the mounting hardware, RT-PLUS® reduces the number of installation components and eliminates the need for field-applied caulk. Fit Within the Roof Tech Lineup

RT-PLUS joins Roof Tech's existing rail-less mounts, RT-MINI II and RT-APEX, extending the company's AlphaSeal® waterproofing standard into a rail-based format for the first time. The addition gives installers a choice between rail-less and rail-based systems without stepping outside Roof Tech's integrated-flashing approach.
