Gujarat is currently facing severe disruption due to continuous heavy rainfall across several districts, leading to flood-like conditions and large-scale rescue operations.

According to recent reports, intense rainfall over the past few days has caused waterlogging and flooding in many parts of the state, especially in South Gujarat districts like Valsad and Navsari. Roads have been submerged, and vehicles have been partially underwater due to rising water levels.

Authorities have taken immediate steps to ensure public safety. More than 22,000 people have been shifted to safer locations, and over 1,200 individuals have been rescued through ongoing relief operations.

Rescue teams, including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and other emergency services, have been deployed across affected areas to manage the situation.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued red alerts in multiple districts, warning of continued heavy to very heavy rainfall in the coming days. As a precaution, schools and colleges in several districts have been temporarily closed.

Officials have advised residents to remain cautious, avoid unnecessary travel, and follow safety guidelines as the state continues to deal with the impact of intense monsoon activity.
