Santa Fe, New Mexico — 28th Sep 2026: Hummingbird Fine Arts, the Santa Fe studio run by printmakers Brooke and Frank Remmert, has added new work to its online catalog, expanding two bodies of work that have been in development for several years. The first addition is Garden Narratives, a series of larger-format collagraphs and monoprints by Brooke Remmert, sized at 15" x 22". The series has existed in Brooke's studio practice for a couple of years but is only now being made available to collectors through the Hummingbird Fine Arts website. Each piece draws from plant material Brooke gathers herself, like flowers, herbs, and garden grasses, pressed through a flat-bed press using a two-plate method she developed on her own.

The second addition, the Aleph/Bet in Gold series, takes a different form. Rather than a standard print run, each piece gold-leafs a single letter of the Hebrew alphabet, with letters such as Aleph, Bet, and Gimel offered individually through commission. The full body of work will not be sold as a set, as only single letters will be made available, each carrying its own traditional meaning within Jewish text and symbolism. The series will be added gradually to the studio's Judaica collection.

Both additions continue the studio's focus on original, hand-pulled printmaking rather than reproduction. Brooke's work centers on collagraph, monoprint, and intaglio techniques rooted in the Judaic principle of Tikkun Olam, the call to repair the world, while Frank's practice spans monotype, solar plate intaglio, and cyanotype. All prints are produced on heavy, 100% cotton rag paper and signed by hand, with each of Brooke's pieces marked by a small hand-drawn hummingbird.
Both series are available for purchase and commission through the Hummingbird Fine Arts website, alongside the studio's existing collections spanning Judaica, nature and landscape work, architectural prints, and historical quilt-pattern art.
