Saarathi Finance, a financial company that primarily serves small and medium businesses, lent its support to a blood donation camp held in Visakhapatnam this week. The drive formed part of a wider campaign the company is running across six cities to promote voluntary blood donation and ease pressure on local healthcare resources.
Roughly 40 people turned up to donate over the course of the day, with total collections reaching approximately 10 litres a contribution organizers say will go toward meeting immediate needs at area hospitals.
Beyond company staff, the camp drew in customers, partners, and members of the local community, pointing to broad public interest in initiatives with a direct, visible benefit. Organizers credited steady turnout to active outreach in the surrounding area throughout the day.
For Saarathi Finance, whose primary focus remains financing for micro and small enterprises, the camp represents one strand of a broader push toward social impact work an effort the company says it intends to keep building on as part of its presence in local communities.
