VIENNA, Austria, October 2, 2026. Fund Momentum, an agentic fundraising intelligence platform for founders and emerging fund managers, has combined its venture capital research tools into a single platform that people and AI agents can use in the same way. Startup founders can identify VC funds with capital to invest, and emerging fund managers can identify limited partners for a first or second fund, either on the Fund Momentum website or through an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
Two groups, one research problem
Founders raising a pre-seed, seed or Series A round and managers raising a Fund I or Fund II face a similar task: finding the investors most likely to say yes, at a time when those investors have capital available. General investor lists often include funds that stopped investing years ago. Fund Momentum addresses this by only listing venture capital funds that have raised or closed capital since September 2024.
What founders get
The platform currently tracks more than 1,100 such VC funds. Around 300 fund closings were reported by Fund Momentum as primary research rather than collected from other databases. Founders can filter funds by country, investment stage and industry, and read an Investor Signal Profile for each fund. These profiles summarize a fund's sweet spot and thesis, list topics the fund is currently positive about and areas where it takes a contrarian view, and give practical dos and don'ts for pitching. General Partner profiles and an AI matching tool that ranks funds against a startup description are included in the paid plans.
What emerging fund managers get
For fund managers, Fund Momentum offers LP Radar, a database of more than 650 disclosed limited partners. Limited partners are the investors that provide capital to venture funds, such as family offices, funds of funds, pension and insurance investors, corporates and government-backed programmes. LP Radar indicates which of them have backed emerging managers before, which helps first-time managers focus their outreach. Fund Momentum also publishes the FM15, a twice-yearly ranking of 15 emerging VC managers based on LP quality, early track record, thesis clarity and founder alignment. Inclusion in the FM15 cannot be bought.
Built for AI agents
Every part of the platform is also available through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. MCP is an open standard that allows AI assistants to connect to outside data sources. Through Fund Momentum's MCP server, an AI assistant can search funds, read fund profiles and investor signals, match a startup to funds and check LP coverage on the user's behalf. Some tools can be tested without an API key. Autonomous AI agents can also register on their own and pay per request using machine payments in the USDC stablecoin, without a person setting up an account. Each fund record shows its source and the date it was last checked, so both users and AI agents can judge how current the data is.
Statement from the founder
"Founders ask Claude which VCs are investing right now, and emerging managers ask ChatGPT which LPs back first-time funds," said Michael Schneider, founder of Fund Momentum. "Fund Momentum gives both groups the same researched data, whether they search the website themselves or let an AI agent do the research for them."
Pricing and availability
Fund search and basic fund profiles are free. Full Investor Signal Profiles start at 9 euros per month, the Pro plan with General Partner profiles and AI matching costs 29 euros per month, and LP Radar costs 199 euros per month or 1,499 euros per year. AI agents pay per request from 0.01 euros. Fund Momentum does not sell personal contact data such as investor email addresses or phone numbers. The platform is available at fundmomentum.vc, setup instructions for AI assistants are at fundmomentum.vc/mcp, and the full announcement with an FAQ is on fundmomentum.vc/press.
