MIAMI, Oct. 15, 2026 -- Sean M. Cleary of The Law Offices of Sean M. Cleary, P.A. has been selected for the Miami-Dade Bar Association’s Circle of Excellence, an honor given to lawyers recognized for skill, integrity, and professionalism in their fields.
This year, the Bar named 119 attorneys across 27 practice areas in Miami-Dade County. The selection process ran for more than two months and drew on nominations and feedback from the public, Bar members, and committee leadership. The final decisions were made by a committee composed entirely of past Circle of Excellence honorees.
Mr. Cleary has practiced law for 28 years and has tried hundreds of jury and bench trials in Florida state and federal courts and in courts across the country. He represents people and families in serious personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and product liability cases, including those arising from vehicle crashes, aviation and boating accidents, and defective products.
He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, where he sits on the board of directors, and serves as President-Elect of the Miami chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He has been named to The Best Lawyers in America for personal injury and medical malpractice litigation every year since 2017, and his firm has held a Tier 1 Best Law Firms ranking since 2018. Mr. Cleary earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1998 and is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
