Sawantwadi, Maharashtra, June 2026 — KSR Global Aquarium, billed as India's first fish theme park, is set to expand its attractions near Amboli Ghat with a new walkthrough tunnel aquarium and an Artificial Snow World, adding to its existing aquarium, bird park, butterfly dome, and agro-tourism experiences in Kesari-Phansavde village.
The park, which has drawn families and travellers passing through the Sindhudurg region since opening, currently holds a 4.7 rating across more than 700 Google reviews, with visitors regularly praising its variety of marine life, bird enclosures, and adventure activities including go-karting, zip-lining, and a river-crossing walkway.
"We built KSR Global Aquarium to give travellers in the Kokan region something they couldn't experience anywhere else," said a spokesperson for KSR Global Aquarium. "The tunnel aquarium and Snow World are the next step in that mission, giving families even more reasons to make Sawantwadi part of their Kokan itinerary."
The expansion adds to an already diverse attraction list that includes the KSR Bird Park, KSR Dome of Colors butterfly and reptile house, KSR Amphibian Park, and KSR Agro Tourism, alongside experiences such as fish feeding and the River Cross Walk.
Entry to the park remains accessible at ₹100 for adults and ₹50 for children, with individual adventure activities priced separately, positioning KSR Global Aquarium as an affordable full-day family destination in a region better known for its beaches and ghats.
