Pune, Maharashtra – September 15, 2025 — Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) , in collaboration with AddOns-i, successfully hosted the Maharashtra State-Level Conference – EduConTech 2025 on September 12, 2025. The event brought together distinguished leaders from academia, industry, and technology to deliberate on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and sustainable innovation in higher education.
A Ceremony of Knowledge and Vision
The conference commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing wisdom and progress. Eminent thinker and writer Achyut Godbole joined ADYPU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain and Registrar Dr. Sudhakar Shinde to inaugurate the event. Their presence set the tone for a day that celebrated the confluence of ideas and innovation.
Keynote Insights on the Future of Education
Delivering the keynote address, Mr. Dipak Bagode, CEO of Creepon Edutech Pvt. Ltd., spoke on “The Future of Higher Education in the Age of Technology.” He highlighted the transformative potential of AI and digital ecosystems in reshaping pedagogy, fostering inclusivity, and building resilient academic partnerships. His address encouraged educators to embrace technology as a driver of change, rather than a disruptor.
Thought-Provoking Addresses
One of the intellectual highlights was Achyut Godbole’s address, where he simplified complex AI concepts, explored their real-world applications in healthcare, journalism, and education, and stressed the need for ethical adoption of technology. He further emphasized the value of leadership qualities and lifelong adaptability in navigating an ever-evolving digital world.
Social entrepreneur Narendra Firodia added a dynamic entrepreneurial perspective by reflecting on how smartphones, digital classrooms, and self-driven learning are redefining the learner’s journey. He underscored the shift toward accessibility and independence in education, making learning more flexible and inclusive.
