Biarritz/Berlin, October 28, 2026 – FRAIZE, the music and creative project of Martin Bruss, has won the Viewers’ Choice Award at the Sound & Screen AI Music Video Awards 2026 for the video accompanying his song Hand on the Wheel. Founded by US music producer Samori Coles, the international competition recognizes innovative creative approaches at the intersection of music, film, and artificial intelligence.
Around 300 creatives participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, with 25 entries selected as finalists. FRAIZE won the public vote in his category, competing against four other nominees. The winners were announced on October 21, 2026.
Future sound. Human soul.
Behind FRAIZE is Martin Bruss, a drummer, filmmaker, and creative director. After nearly four decades in Berlin, he now lives and works in Biarritz on the French Atlantic coast.
His music blends soul pop, electro funk, jazzy synthesizers, indie pop, and cinematic electronica. Minimalist yet emotional, precise yet warm. Music driven by groove, while leaving room to breathe.
What sets FRAIZE apart is the interplay between sound and image. From the initial musical idea through lyrics, composition, and production to the final visual execution, Bruss develops his work as cohesive creative worlds.
Between music, film, and digital Imagination
FRAIZE’s visual universe is populated by recurring fictional characters and digital performers. They form part of an imaginary band, contribute to cinematic storytelling, and reflect a distinctive artistic signature.
AI-powered technologies also play a role in the process, including selected voices, performances, and visual elements. Yet the creative direction is not determined by the tools, but by Martin Bruss’s decades of experience and artistic vision.
Winning the Viewers’ Choice Award demonstrates that this approach also resonates with international audiences.
An audience award for new forms of creative expression
The Sound & Screen AI Music Video Awards were established in 2026 by US music producer Samori Coles. Coles is the founder of Lil’ Drummaboy Recordings in Philadelphia and a voting member of the Recording Academy, the organization behind the annual Grammy Awards.
Through the competition, he has created an international platform for creatives who use emerging technologies in music video production to expand the possibilities of audiovisual storytelling.
The Viewers’ Choice Award is determined entirely by public voting. For FRAIZE, the award represents international recognition of his distinctive combination of music, cinematic storytelling, and digital design.
