The story spans 50 years of gaming. A Sears Pong console in 1975, hand-drawn Zelda maps on graph paper in 1987, married in 1993, son born in 1994, being told to get off AOL in 1999, school from 1999–2001, and later teaching himself to download and install mods from Nexus Mods at the kitchen table.
