Under its India Sterlocked campaign, team Sterloc hosted an on-campus hygiene awareness event at Government Senior Secondary School, Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh. The event aligned with the celebration of Chaitra Navratri.

Collectively, the visit focused on practical learning, play, community care, and activities that were designed to help students and teachers make hygiene a daily habit. The aim was simply to make hygiene easy, fun, and a part of festive cheer.

The team began with some games that were central to the event. Each fun activity was wrapped with learning. Volunteers led interactive sessions that showed how small steps like handwashing before meals and keeping the surrounding areas clean add up to a healthier school. The “why” questions of fresh minds were answered with simple demonstrations.

In addition to this, the India Sterlocked team supported routine sanitation across the school by donating Sterloc to teachers for staff rooms and classrooms. Class 3 and 4 students received special gifts that encouraged clean hands, tidy desks, and mindful sharing of common spaces.

All of these strategies were created to fit hygiene smoothly into existing routines, so the reinforcement would feel natural. Whereas the donation of Sterloc supported them in applying their knowledge in reality.
The program closed with a short recap where students shared one hygiene step they planned to practice at home and school daily.
