As a part of its ongoing India Sterlocked campaign, Team Sterloc visited Ashiyana Child Care Home in Sector 16, Panchkula. The motive was to spread awareness about hygiene and personal care among children.

For those who don’t know, Ashiyana is an organization operated by the Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) and managed by a District Child Welfare Committee. It provides care for children by establishing a home-like environment with education, counseling, recreation, and vocational training for children who are below the poverty line.

This was not just a regular, boring event with lectures. In fact, it promoted good hygiene habits through engaging and interactive sessions where Sterloc marked another step in its mission to build a healthier and safer India.

Through fun-filled games and activities, children learned how everyday habits, no matter how small, can protect them from unwanted infections and illnesses. Be it washing hands, keeping surroundings clean, showering daily, wearing fresh clothes, or using safe sanitizing products
The session not only emphasizes self-hygiene, but also overall cleanliness. So they could keep themselves and the communities healthy. To give them a token of their learning, each child was gifted a Sterloc disinfectant spray, giving them a kick start to their personal hygiene journey.

For many of the Ashiyana kids, this day was not just ordinary; it was a chance to learn skills that can keep them safe and healthy for life. Nevertheless, it was filled with moments of genuine joy.

Likewise, the India Sterlocked campaign has been traveling across various regions to encourage better hygiene habits. Each visit adds another layer to its vision, where everything is clean and hygienic.
