Panchkula, December 10, 2024: Team Sterloc, in collaboration with the Venus Foundation, successfully organized a Cleanliness & Awareness Drive at Government Model Sanskriti Primary School, Bedhanpur, Sector 19, Panchkula. The initiative was conducted under Sterloc’s ongoing IndiaSterlocked campaign. It aims to reinforce the importance of hygiene and cleanliness practices across communities.
The event began with an interactive session with students of Classes 7 to 10 to make them feel comfortable engaging openly. Along with a fun-filled interaction, the educational session encouraged students to share their perspectives on cleanliness, personal hygiene, and their role in maintaining a healthy environment.
To make the session impactful, every student received a bottle of Sterloc, an alcohol-free hand sanitizer in India, along with a microfiber cloth. By equipping them with practical hygiene tools, the team intended to encourage them to adopt and practice cleanliness in their daily lives. As it is said, early childhood learning establishes the foundation for long-term behavior.
Together, team Sterloc and Venus Foundation educated students on the significance of hygiene and its direct impact on health, well-being, and everyday life. By inculcating civic responsibility, the teams received an enthusiastic response from the students, which reflected the growing awareness among younger generations.
Besides the hygiene lesson, every student was provided with a Women’s Empowerment Program form to take home for the female members of their families. Through this initiative, Venus Foundation aims to empower women and open new opportunities for them to unfold their future.
This successful drive marks another milestone in the organization’s mission to empower communities through education and meaningful social initiatives.
