Panchkula, Haryana — July 25, 2024: Intending to encourage healthier hygiene practices, team Sterloc conducted a community-focused hygiene awareness initiative at Sarvani Association, Sector 12, Panchkula, under its India Sterlocked campaign.
Operating actively across the Tricity region, Sarvani Association focuses on women empowerment, children's education, and community awareness. Meanwhile, Sterloc, one of the best sanitizers in India, is a non-alcoholic and multipurpose disinfectant powered by hypochlorous acid (HOCl).
Team Sterloc joined hands with Sarvani to support greater awareness about the importance of cleanliness and sanitation. As part of the initiative, the team donated Sterloc to the NGO children. They explained when to use the sanitizer and how to use it, especially in the absence of soap and water.
The event began with an active engagement that helped the team understand their routine and lifestyle. Team Sterloc helped the participants to understand the importance of hygiene in their daily lives and motivated them to inculcate simple habits which can help the environment to be cleaner and healthier.
The program is a testament to Team Sterloc’s commitment to assisting the community. The team gave children access to sanitiser and practical information so they can make informed decisions about hygiene and adopt good practices in their daily routine. As it is said, “what is carved in the stone of youth endures the storms of age.”
The Team Sterloc initiative of the Sarvani Association is a positive step towards strengthening hygiene awareness. With its focus on education, accessibility, and community participation, they continue to support the well-being of the community through efforts that encourage hygiene practices and public awareness.
In addition to encouraging regular hygiene, the program aimed to foster a sense of shared responsibility toward maintaining healthier surroundings, contributing to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by the Government of India.
