Baltimore’s Stevenson Village Veterinary Hospital proudly introduces the PetDesk App, giving pet owners a streamlined way to take control of their pet’s healthcare. Accessible via smartphone, the app syncs vaccination records, schedules appointments, and supports two-way texting with our team—all without ever calling the front desk.

Seamless Appointment Booking & Reminders

Clients can request or book appointments at any time via the app. Automated reminders ensure no more missed vaccination or dental cleaning appointments. According to PetDesk research, 78% of pet parents value the ability to book anytime from any device, and 87% say appointment reminders are important to them.

Integrated Medical Records and Communication

Once registered, users gain access to their pet’s full medical history, preventive care schedules, pre‑visit forms, loyalty plan information, and more. Two-way texting allows direct communication with our staff for questions or updates. At Stevenson Village, 80% of clients who visited five times or more were PetDesk users, and 1,103 of 1,670 appointments in the past 18 months were booked through the system PetDesk.

Focused on Preventive Dental Care

Dental disease is one of the most common health issues for pets: over 80% of dogs and more than 70% of cats show signs of periodontal disease by age three. Banfield data shows 73% of dogs and 64% of cats seen in 2023 had dental‑related issues. Advanced periodontal disease in pets is linked to serious systemic effects—dogs are over two times more likely to develop chronic kidney disease and more than six times more likely to develop heart valve infection.

Stevenson Village offers full-service veterinary dental care including oral examinations, digital X‑rays, anesthetic dental cleanings, extractions, and periodontal treatment. The PetDesk App helps clients stay on top of annual dental exams and hygiene planning—key to preventing disease progression.
