Matthew Kayne, founder of Sugar Kayne Radio and known on air as DJ Sugar Kayne, has released a deeply personal new single, "Look At Me Now," reflecting on his own journey through bladder cancer and life with cerebral palsy.
The track follows Matthew's decision to turn his own experience of illness and recovery into music, after periods he has described as feeling overlooked and isolated because of his disability and health.

Speaking about the song, Matthew said: "There were moments when I felt overlooked, underestimated, and quite isolated. 'Look At Me Now' is my way of saying that even when life tries to knock you down, your story isn't over. It's about finding strength, hope, and belief in yourself, and showing that no matter what you've been through, you can still rise and be proud of how far you've come."

The single builds on Matthew's earlier release, "Free Like A Bird," continuing a body of work that draws directly on his own health journey as a source of music rather than something to be defined by. It also ties into the wider mission behind Sugar Kayne Radio itself, a station Matthew founded to give a platform to real voices, regardless of background or ability.
