The masterclass is designed for engineers, students and telecom professionals who want a structured, standards-aware introduction to this shift, from the IMT-2030 vision to future research directions.

What the programme covers

The 15-hour curriculum includes:

IMT-2030 vision, KPIs and 6G standardisation
AI-native RAN architecture and intelligent networks
AI/ML, deep learning, reinforcement learning, LLMs and RAG for wireless applications
3GPP AI/ML work for NG-RAN, the NR air interface and the 5G Core
Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC)
Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN)
OFDM vs OTFS, FR3 and sub-THz communication

Hands-on learning

Participants work through practical experiments using Python and Google Colab, including a machine-learning exercise on modulation classification and wireless demonstrations on ISAC range and velocity estimation, OFDM vs OTFS performance, and FR3/sub-THz propagation. The core exercises run on a standard CPU, so no specialised hardware is required.
