January – Pet Weight Loss Month (and Beyond!)

Although January is nationally recognized as Pet Weight Loss Month, Tenafly Veterinary Center is extending the effort for a full year to help pets live longer, healthier lives. Owners can schedule a complimentary 10-minute weight check exam, receive a free bag of weight loss food (while supplies last), and enjoy free 30-, 60-, and 90-day recheck appointments. The team provides personalized nutritional guidance and celebrates milestones to ensure steady progress. At year’s end, pets receive a final free evaluation to recognize their success in maintaining a healthy weight.

February & March – Pet Dental Health Promotion

From February 1 to March 31, pet owners can take advantage of a complimentary oral health exam and receive a free bag of Purina Dental Health. Clients also benefit from a guided tour of the clinic’s dental facilities, including a state-of-the-art dental CT capable of scanning a pet’s oral cavity in just 20 seconds. Dental cleaning appointments during this period also come with $25 off SANOS sealant, a professional veterinary barrier designed to extend the benefits of dental cleanings by at least six months.

March – Parasite Awareness Month

To combat ticks, fleas, and heartworm, Tenafly Veterinary Center is offering complimentary 10-minute consults to determine whether Proheart 12, Bravecto, or Revolution is the right fit for a pet’s needs. Pet owners can receive $15 Zoetis Petcare Rewards with Proheart injections, reduced-cost heartworm testing ($15 off), and Bravecto savings of $5–$10 depending on quantity purchased.

April – Allergy Awareness Month

Pets suffering from chronic itching can benefit from Tenafly’s April allergy program, which includes a complimentary consult, $50 off allergy testing, and $50 off the first allergy vaccine order. Clients also receive 10% off anti-itch packages, including shampoos, skin barrier protection, and anti-inflammatory diets. This program emphasizes long-term disease modification—not just symptom relief.

Year-Round Appreciation Programs

Tenafly Veterinary Center honors seniors, veterans, and law enforcement with complimentary VIP memberships and 10% off services (excluding dental and surgical procedures). The Refer-a-Friend program offers $35 credits to both the referring client and the new client. December – Arthritis Awareness Month

From December 1–31, pets can receive a $300 arthritis evaluation package—including an exam and hip/spine X-rays—and automatic entry to win $100 clinic credit. Owners complete a required arthritis questionnaire for dogs or cats to participate.
