The Excelsis School of Music is delighted to announce a special Exam Preparation Workshop this half term for students preparing for their upcoming music exams in November and December 2025. Open to pupils of all ages, instruments, and exam boards — from Initial to Grade 8 — the workshop offers an invaluable opportunity to gain confidence, refine performance skills, and prepare for success.
This focused one-hour session will take place on Thursday, 30 October 2025, from 6:15–7:15pm, at St Mark’s Room, Christ the King, N14 4HE. The event is designed for both in-person and recorded exam candidates, ensuring every learner receives the tools they need to perform at their best.
Participants will have the chance to:
Perform their full exam programme in front of a supportive audience.
Practise stagecraft and presentation techniques, such as confident entrances, handling nerves, and maintaining composure.
Receive personalised feedback from experienced instructors, offering clear, actionable guidance.
Gain performance experience in an exam-like environment, helping them manage real-world pressure effectively.
The workshop will follow a masterclass-style format, allowing each student to receive individual attention while learning from peers. This interactive approach nurtures self-assurance and prepares candidates to excel under exam conditions.
Observer places are also available — ideal for students preparing for their March 2026 exams, offering valuable insight into performance standards and examiner expectations.
💰 Fees:
