BUST OUT THE BOX #13: UCCS MUSIC NIGHT — PUBLISHED LOCAL ARTIST AND UCCS STUDENT 'THE SARGE' BRINGS THE CHARITY SHOWCASE BACK TO THE WAGON WHEEL ON NOVEMBER 21

Proceeds benefit the UCCS Music Department ($25,000 goal); holiday toy drive supports D11 students. Lineup spans DJ/EDM, R&B, and hip-hop.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Sarge LLC presents Bust Out The Box #13: UCCS Music Night on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at the Wagon Wheel Sports Bar & Concert Hall, 2308 E Platte Ave in Colorado Springs. The student music showcase and charity event runs 7 to 11 PM (18+) and raises funds for the UCCS Music Department, with a $25,000 goal, while collecting holiday toys for students in Colorado Springs School District 11. Tickets are $20 at the door, just $5 for UCCS students, with discounted presales on Eventbrite.

THE LINEUP — ONE NIGHT, ONE STAGE, ONE UNIVERSITY
Brometheus, D1TCHNYMPH, and Ohm Slayer run the DJ and EDM side of the night. Juaniee and The Sarge perform two separate acts — hers R&B, his hip-hop — with more acts to be announced. The night is vendored by Karma's Tie Dye and The Wellness Spot, with outside catering from The Blue Bus, which donates $3 from every plate sold to the Music Department fund. Robin Hood Initiative, a 501(c)(3) public charity, stands as a sponsor of the event.

BACK AGAIN — GIVING IS THE TRADITION
This is not a first-year ask. Last year's Bust Out The Box charity night rallied this same room for a holiday food drive for local families — and The Sarge is back giving again this year, bigger: every ticket, every donation, and every plate pushes the UCCS Music Department goal, and every toy collected at the door goes to a D11 kid this holiday season.

A STUDENT LEADING STUDENTS
The Sarge (Michael K Ung) is a published and established Colorado Springs artist — a hip-hop and pop-punk-rock performer published on HipHopSince1987.com — who runs Bust Out The Box, the monthly multi-genre residency at the Wagon Wheel. He is also a student in the department he's fundraising for: a Music (BA) major at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where he serves as an officer with MuSA (Music Student Administration), sings with Pitch Peak a cappella, and is a current member of UCCS Radio. He holds a BS in Audio Production from Full Sail University. Campus coverage is already rolling: UCCS News published "UCCS music student launches GoFundMe for music department alongside November charity concert" (Oct 22, 2026 — news.uccs.edu), and The Scribe, the UCCS student newspaper, has already spotlighted lineup artist Juaniee ahead of the show — with further coverage to follow through The Scribe and UCCS Radio.

"The students in this department are my classmates. I sit next to them every week," said The Sarge. "One night, one stage, one university — all the funds go towards our department. If you can't be in the room, the GoFundMe carries the same weight as a ticket. Every bit helps."
