Vasuki Cement Private Limited entered the Indian cement market in January 2026 without a staged rollout. Registration and first production happened in the same month. By the time the company formally existed on paper, clinker was already moving through the Morbi mill and batches were being cleared by the on-site laboratory.
The plant sits at Survey No. 133, Village Varshamedi, Taluka Maliya, Morbi, Gujarat 363670 — a 17,000 square metre site configured from the outset for four cement grades. There is no retrofitting here. The silos, blending specifications, and testing protocols for OPC, PPC, PSC, and GGBS were in place before commercial production began. Every batch dispatched carries BIS certification.
The choice of Morbi was made on the strength of its supply chain. Fly ash and slag reach the plant through routes that the Vasuki Group has used for more than twenty years. Clinker and gypsum procurement was operational before the plant launched. Road and rail connectivity into Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh allows the plant to serve markets well beyond Gujarat's borders without significant logistics overhead. The construction economy of Morbi, Rajkot, and Surendranagar provides a dense, close-range customer base.
The workforce is drawn primarily from the Morbi district and surrounding talukas. The wider Vasuki Group brings more than two decades of experience in cement raw material procurement, logistics, and trading — a foundation that allowed Vasuki Cement to launch at volume rather than building towards it.
Product range
Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) - High early strength for structural concrete, columns, and precast elements. The standard specification where programme speed and shuttering turnaround drive material choice.
Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) - Fly ash blended to lower the heat of hydration and reduce early cracking. Better long-term strength in Gujarat's hot and humid conditions. The default grade for slabs, walls, and general-purpose construction.
Portland Slag Cement (PSC) - Slag-dense microstructure limits chloride and sulphate ingress. Specified for coastal construction, marine structures, and sites with chemically aggressive soil or groundwater conditions.
Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) - Used as a partial cement replacement in mass concrete pours, large raft foundations, and long-span infrastructure. Applied where controlling the heat of hydration over extended curing periods is the primary engineering requirement.
