Toyflix, a Bangalore-based early childhood learning startup, has launched India’s first subscription-led toy ecosystem that allows parents to access ₹10,000 worth of STEM and premium developmental toys every month for just ₹30/day. The service delivers curated toy kits to families’ doorsteps and replaces them with new toys every month, eliminating the need to frequently purchase toys that children quickly outgrow.
The startup has seen rapid traction over the last two years, recording 500% growth and 65% retention without spending on retention marketing. Toyflix’s toy rotation model ensures constant engagement for children while helping parents save ₹60,000–₹90,000 annually and maintain clutter-free homes. The company says each toy is reused 15–20 times, reducing plastic waste and supporting sustainable consumption.
Building on strong product–market fit in Bangalore, Toyflix is now expanding to Tier-2 cities and IT tech corridor communities through an asset-light franchise model, enabling entrepreneurs across India to operate local Toyflix hubs with central support for technology, logistics, and expert toy selection.
“Parents don’t need more toys — they need smarter access to toys,” said Vikram Madhusudhan, CEO and Founder of Toyflix. “Our vision is to make high-quality learning toys affordable and accessible for every Indian home, while building a sustainable circular toy economy.”
Toyflix raised ₹1 crore in seed funding in February 2024, and is now raising ₹8 crore ($900K) to scale its franchise network, build preschool and corporate crèche partnerships, and support in-house R&D in STEM toys manufactured under the Make in India initiative.
