Last week, W4G Track Recovery's leadership team was invited to participate in INTERPOL's prestigious 5th Annual Global Vehicle Crime Conference in Lyon, France, where Rick Radcliffe (Founder & MD of W4G Group) and Ahron Tolley (Director of W4G Track Recovery) joined other leaders from across the vehicle crime world to address the growing challenge of international vehicle theft.
Ahron Tolley had the privilege of presenting how W4G Track Recovery operates and the strategic partnerships the company has developed with key industry stakeholders. The presentation highlighted W4G's collaborative approach with IAATI UK, NaVCIS (National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service), the National Association of Stolen Vehicle Examiners (NASVE), Metropolitan Police, and the BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association).
Particular focus was given to W4G Track Recovery's work with Opal SOAC and the National Vehicle Crime Reduction Partnership to combat vehicle crime. The company's approach goes beyond simple vehicle recovery, emphasising proactive investigation into theft offences and disruption of organised criminal networks operating across international borders.
The invitation to present at INTERPOL's global conference reflects W4G Track Recovery's position as a trusted partner in the international fight against vehicle crime. The company's intelligence-led operations and multi-agency partnerships have established it as a vital contributor to national and international law enforcement efforts.
W4G Track Recovery works closely with Police Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies across regional and national crime efforts, combining advanced GPS tracking technology with specialist investigative expertise. The company maintains a 95% recovery rate with an average recovery time of 4.4 hours, recovering approximately £2 million worth of assets per month.
Ahron Tolley, Director of W4G Track Recovery, commented: "Being invited back to present at INTERPOL after speaking previously was a real honour, and a reminder of how important this global conversation has become. Public-private partnerships don't need to rely on the private sector funding for Police operations. They can be built on collaboration, intelligence and shared purpose.
“Our partnership with Opal SOAC and the National Vehicle Crime Reduction Partnership demonstrates how the intelligence we provide following our physical deployments directly supports law enforcement and delivers real results for victims of crime. This is the kind of model that strengthens policing while keeping independence intact - and it works."
The company's participation in the conference underscores its commitment to staying at the forefront of vehicle crime prevention and recovery, working with international partners to develop more effective strategies for combating organised theft operations.
