Who is selling on YallaMotor

Most used cars on YallaMotor are sold by their owners. In YallaMotor's snapshot of 3 November 2026, private owners posted about 24,000 of the 29,638 UAE used car listings, or 81%. Dubai had the most listings, followed by Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Al Ain, and Nissan and Toyota were the most-listed brands.

"Owners asking which website to sell a car on in the UAE usually want to know three things: what it costs, who sets the price and who the buyer is," said Mohamad AlRayes, Director of Growth at YallaMotor. "On YallaMotor the basic listing costs nothing, the owner sets the price, and the buyer is another driver, because we do not buy cars ourselves. Owners who want a faster sale can pay for more photos, time at the top of search results and a WhatsApp button."

How listing works

Listing a car takes four steps: choose a package, enter the car details, add photos and add contact details. No registration form is needed. YallaMotor creates an account from the seller's mobile number, with a one-time password to log in, and sellers edit or remove ads under "My Used Car Ads". Buyers contact the seller directly, and YallaMotor's FAQ says a sale usually takes between a few days and a few weeks, depending on the make, model and price.

The paid packages are built for owners who want more enquiries. YallaMotor says Super and Hyper listings can draw up to 50 times more offers than a basic ad. YallaMotor Max adds a professionally produced video ad and photo posts on four YallaMotor social media profiles, with more than 400,000 combined followers. The page states that exposure is guaranteed but the sale depends on the market, the car and its asking price. Max is booked through WhatsApp.

Setting the right price

YallaMotor's online tools help owners price a car before listing it:
• Car Valuation estimates what a car is worth from its make, model, year, mileage and condition, using current demand and price trends.
• Fair Price Check rates an asking price as Great Deal, Hot, Good, Fair or Over.
• Depreciation and Resale Forecaster estimates a car's value in five years, which helps owners decide whether to sell now or later.

Services that help a car sell

Buyers trust a car more when its condition is documented. Through YallaMotor, sellers can order a 360 inspection covering the interior, exterior, engine and electronics, with photos and a verified inspection report, and a vehicle history report covering accident and damage records, mileage, previous owners and service logs. Residents leaving the UAE can also list a car for export, and YallaMotor's export service helps with customs paperwork, shipping and port processing.

YallaMotor recommends that owners compare the valuation with current listings of the same model, year and mileage in their emirate, upload clear photos and the service history, reply to enquiries on the same day, and lower the price of a listing that gets no contact within two weeks.
