LOS ANGELES, November 2, 2026 — Yaniv Raphael Bar, Chairman and President of Monogram Pictures and President of Allied Artists Film Group, has assembled a new leadership team at Monogram Pictures, naming Jared Safier chief executive officer, Danielle Abergel executive vice president and Oshri Cohen senior vice president. Safier, who joined Monogram's board in April 2026, took up the CEO role in June 2026.
The appointments complete the executive team of the historic studio, which Allied Artists re-established in 2021 and which is developing new films from its own library alongside comics, animation, music and distribution. Safier, Abergel and Cohen also sit on Monogram's board of directors.
Safier is the founder, chairman and CEO of Safier Entertainment, a Los Angeles company he started in 2001 that works across film and television production, finance, worldwide sales and distribution. As CEO he will support the company's growth, its production relationships and the development of a commercially focused slate.
Abergel will support Monogram's organizational development and long-term growth as executive vice president.
Cohen is an Israeli film, television and stage actor who has received four Ophir Award nominations, for "Bonjour Monsieur Shlomi" (2003), "Beaufort" (2007), "Lost Islands" (2008) and "Working Woman" (2018). His film credits also include "Lebanon" (2009), which won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
"When I set out to bring Monogram back, I knew the name alone wouldn't be enough. It needed people who believe in it," said Yaniv Raphael Bar. "Jared knows how to build a studio and get films made and sold, Danielle is committed to building Monogram for the long term, and Oshri brings an artist's instinct for story. Together they give Monogram the team to match its history."
The studio's department heads include Bradley Eisenstein, head of business affairs, who leads the division with board member Jessi Taylor; Nadav Streett, owner of Rising Sun Media, head of distribution; Steve Stern, head of Monogram Comics, which publishes through 1First Comics; Sylvia Hernandez, head of animation, leading a team that includes Rex Wong and Jimmy Thomas; Emilio Martinez, head of development; and Roy Shellef, head of production and co-author of the Monogram and Allied Artists history "From Poverty Row to the Oscars." Kim Richards, chairman and CEO of Allied Artists, sits on the Monogram board.
