FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOS ANGELES, November 5, 2026 — Yaniv Raphael Bar, Chairman and President of Monogram Pictures and President of Allied Artists Film Group, has revived the Monogram Records name as the music division of Monogram Pictures and appointed Alon Cohen as chief executive officer and Alejandro J. Arango as president of Monogram Records. The label will develop recording projects, artist collaborations and music for film, so that a song can become part of a film's identity.

The Monogram name has a long history on records, though not as a label of the film studio itself. A New York calypso label used the name from the late 1940s, and an unrelated Hollywood label released Chris Montez's "Let's Dance," which reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1962.

For Yaniv Raphael Bar, the label is also a return to his first career. Born in Israel, he released the album "Yaniv and the Wild Flowers" on ENR Records in 1996 and performed in stadium concerts, including an Israel Independence Day show at the stadium in Haifa, before moving to the United States in 2004. In 2023 he produced and directed "Boy George & Culture Club: One World, One Love," a live concert broadcast from Culture Club's One Love Tour, shown live in cinemas in 11 territories, including the United Kingdom, Japan, Brazil and Italy.

Cohen, known professionally as Alon De Loco, is an Israeli singer, rapper, songwriter and producer who helped bring reggaeton and dancehall into Hebrew hip-hop. His hits include "Or" and "Loco Wine," and he won the Israeli music reality series "Living in LA LA Land" in 2011.

Arango, known professionally as Architracks, is a Miami-based producer, songwriter and recording artist working across hip-hop and Latin urban music. His production credits include B-Real's "Anybody," featuring Snoop Dogg and KingFly.

Monogram Records plans two releases by the Prescott Niles All Star Band: a greatest-hits EP and a live album recorded on the band's world tour. The band is led by Prescott Niles, the founding bassist of The Knack, whose "My Sharona" topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1979.

"Before I ever worked in film, I was a singer, and music has never left me," said Yaniv Raphael Bar. "With Alon and Alejandro, Monogram Records can make songs and scores that travel with our stories, from Israel to Miami to Hollywood."
