SAN FRANCISCO, California, October 2, 2026 – Jolene.pro has introduced workbook-based question suggestions for people analysing Excel and CSV files.
After a workbook is processed, the platform reviews its sheets, tables, column headings and available values before proposing questions relevant to the information it contains. The suggestions are based on the workbook rather than a fixed list of generic spreadsheet prompts.
A sales workbook, for example, may produce suggested questions about pipeline value by stage, opportunities without recent activity or performance by account owner. A finance workbook may prompt comparisons between budget and actual results, monthly changes or overdue payments.
“Starting spreadsheet analysis can be difficult when someone knows the workbook contains useful information but has not yet decided what to investigate,” said Yugesh Krishna, Head of AI and GTM at Jolene.pro. “The suggestions give them a practical starting point based on what is actually present in the file.”
The feature supports workbooks containing multiple sheets and separate tables within the same worksheet. Users can work across selected sheets through the Scope control or focus a question on one sheet using the @sheet function.
Suggested questions can be edited before they are submitted. Users can also write their own questions at any point, allowing the suggestions to function as a starting point rather than a fixed workflow.
Answers may include summaries, tables and optional charts. Each response also identifies the source cells, rows and sheets used in the analysis so users can inspect the underlying workbook information.
Analyses can be saved and run again when a new version of the workbook becomes available. This supports recurring spreadsheet work such as monthly management reports, pipeline reviews, budget comparisons and operational tracking.
New accounts currently receive 2,000 credits. Credits are not deducted when file processing or analysis fails.
